Hampton Inn Dade City - Zephyrhills

I booked to stay beginning of December. During my stay my daughter had to be admitted into the ER. I asked if I can get a refund on the night I didn’t stay and the hotel refused! I told them I was heading to the ER & everything, they didn’t care. I waited 15 minutes to speak to a manager who was too busy to come out to speak to me, his name is Sunny, He even put that I checked out early for no reason! HORRIBLE management! .Front desk employees were kind. After calling Hilton countless of times AND providing proof I was really in the hospital with my daughter, they finally agreed to a refund. Sad because I am coming back to town in January but refuse to stay in a hotel that doesn’t accommodate, or a manager who doesn’t care!

Reserved two night stay this last weekend . Arrived Friday, told front desk I would be staying the scheduled two nites. Showed my reservation confirmation number. Was told it wasn't needed , they go by names , which they had. Returned the next day after downtown , management had kicked us out of our room ! They took our luggage & belonging and put them in storage. ! I'm standing at desk with my now useless electronic door keys & no room or luggage ! Front desk insisted it was my fault . Stated that I checked out , leaving my luggage & clothes behind with the keys. Demanded our luggage .Had to change my clothes in the restroom. We left after the dis respectfull & negligent treatment . Be forwarded if you book here !

Very good location if visiting ST. LEO University. I checked online and decided on a room on the 3rd floor. I told the front desk of the room when i physically arrived. She gave me the key which didn't open the room. I looked at the jacket and saw she wrote a room number for the 2nd floor. I figured she must've given us that room, when we opened the door, there was someone already in there. We went back down stairs and got another key for the previous room on the 3rd floor. The front desk lady seemed confused if the mix-up. I think next time I will try another hotel.
